Marie Hyon

Marie moved from Seoul to Brooklyn at nine and grew up navigating two cultures, a sketchpad always in hand. She studied illustration, art-directed MTV and Nickelodeon in their golden chaos era, and then co-founded Psyop in a bar in the East Village—because of course she did.

Marie’s work as a director has seen her capture audiences for Adobe, Chic-fil-a, LG, American express and Honda.

Marie’s sees the world through empathetic eyes and translates her perception into stories that stick with the audience. That’s not just why she belongs at Psyop, it’s why she continues to build it.
